When creating 360s the background seems to flicker a little bit, as the object is turned around.  Can I minimize the background flicker to create a more consistent background?

Step-by-step guide

In order to eliminate background flickering, you should use the De-Flicker tool, which is available starting with version 8.0 of Shutter Stream.
Here is a video of the tool, showing how the de-flicker tool is used: https://www.iconasys.com/Downloads/Customers/DeFlicker.mp4

The step-by-step instructions are as follows:

  1. Load all the frames inside the Shutter Stream image editor.
  2. Select the de-flicker tool.
  3. Draw a rectangle on the background frame that you know is constant in all the frames.
    1. Consider using the "View alignment" tool to make sure you select a region of the image that is constant in all frames.
  4. Hit "Apply to All" to eliminate the flickering in all frames.
