Support for Older Operating Systems
At Iconasys we strive to make sure that the latest version of our software is compatible with the latest operating systems and latest camera SDKs. As such, there may be issues when using the latest version of our software on earlier OS versions. This is due to several reasons:
- For Mac, our software uses the latest OS SDKs. Therefore, features that use SDK functions that are different in earlier OS SDKs will not work with earlier OSes.
- The latest camera SDKs seem to be only tested, by the manufacturer, on the latest Mac OSes. This seems to be particularly true for Nikon cameras. As such, the latest version of our software, which uses the latest camera SDKs, may have issues with earlier OSes.
We suggest that you give the software a try and let that be the ultimate guide on compatibility with older OSes
