Please make sure that the controller box is connected to the proper power source.  If the controller is configured for 110V the power source should be 110V.  If the controller is configured for 220V the power source should be 220V.  The controller configuration should be written above the power port.  If it's not written, please contact our support team, before powering the controller.

Step-by-step guide

The Platinum XL turntable comes with the following parts:

  1. Connect the power to the controller box (2b), but make sure all the power switches are turned off.
Please note that the controller is pre-configured with wither 110V or 220V, which should be stated above the power port.
Do not connect the 110V option to 220V.  If you connect 110V to the 220V configured controller, the table won't work.
Please make sure you connect the proper power source to whatever the controller voltage is configured.
  2. Connect the long (20 foot) cable from the back of the controller box to the turntable.  The twist-off cable is bi-directional.
  3. Remove the tape from the roller bearings and make sure they roller bearings are properly seated.
  4. Remove the 5mm hex wrench.
  5. Remove the 4 screws from the top of the table stem.
  6. Place the top on the stem and, using the hex wrench, screw the four mounting screws back into the stem.
  7. Power on the controller box.  Power the back switch first and then the front switch.
  8. Connect the USB cable from the controller to the computer
  9. Start the Shutter Stream software and the 360 controller software, from Shutter Stream.
  10. Select the table type to be Platinum XL.
  11. You are now ready to use the table.  If you run into any issues, please contact our support team.
